About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finally understand human gravity teory... attract and act with beautiful people around!

ABOUT ME

I have a bit lazy nature... I tried to get rid of it over few last years but... I have recently read this book about the continuum concept based on author's interaction with south american indians and... it seems that laziness is learned in first years of child's life and cannot be eliminated anytime later. I will have to live with it. Definitelly coffee helps but there are few side effects: sparkling red eyes - a gaze which might not let you sleep well ever again...

Some people say that I have a sense of humor but don't believe them. I'm as serious as an ant-eater standing over an ant-hill, waiting for last ant to come out.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a MOMENT COLLECTOR. I travel through time and space collecting short peaces of world and time. I don't use photo camera or video recorder I try memorize chosen whiles and pictures, because every ray of sunlight is glimmer of hope that makes the world special for the moment.

Today [13.05.2012] I extended my philosophy with non-translatable Polish motto: Karpie dniem, a nocą sex.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I've heard of CS it was warm Monday in Athens, December 2008. My friend Sonia - she was CS-maniac that time - asked. 'Why don't you try to find a couch next time?" and so it has started.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Quite positive. Even though sometimes I'm getting borred with amount of initial communication and I have a laugh when I don't get a reply (kiwi speciality) or get so called too late reply 'I haven't seen ur request' to upgrade reply stats. I have had already tried few funny, abstract couchsurfing setups: some surfing and hosting... so I believe and I follow the force of opportunity;--)

Interests

Traipsing, trumping and watching people waking from above of your coffee cup - I like to walk through an unknown city without a map and without the aim. Just walk and watch the life around. When I find a big solar umbrella of small family bar I take a coffee and I open my favorite book. This is the moment when I feel completely free.

Skiing, Ice-hokey - I generally like winter sports.

Books - I like to take day free, turn off my mobile phone and hide myself somewhere in the countryside with interesting book.

Salsa and conga playing - there was a time I was crazy with salsa. I was dancing 8 days a week and I traveled to many salsa congresses... but one day I've got bored.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
I will speak here not about favorite books but about my favorite writers. I like Kurt Vonnegut for his black humor and simple wise advices how to live in harmony on this strange world. I like to engage into stories written by Philip K. Dick to find solutions not reachable by common imagination. I often remind myself Marek Hłasko's stories telling as that our life is like an act in the drama - every day we are acting. Edward Stachura is one I'm really fond of. His philosophical and anthropological 'Fabularasa' is like a bible for me, his story 'Siekierezada' - 'Axework ballad' is something that gives me strength when I lack it.

Music:
It all depends on weather and humor ;-)
Recently I was listening to:
Carlos Sanntana, Joe Sartriani, SDM, Jacek Kaczmarski, Natalie Imbruglia, Diana Krall, Tom Fats Waller, Quincy Jones, Apocalyptica, Jazzanova.

Movies:
Jim Jarmusch: Ghost Dog,
Tarantino: Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol. 1
Kim Ki-duk: Empty house
Christophera Nolan: Memento
Pedro Almodóvar: Hable con ella
Darren Arfonsky: Black Swan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Imagine warm spring evening on Northland lookout in Wellington. The whole city presents it's beauty in red and purple beams of sunset. I'm sitting on a wooden picnic table beside a woman who I'm totally in love with. I'm smoking - very slowly - a cigarette just rolled by her (I'm horribly clumsy with rolling cigarettes)... and time stops.
