ABOUT ME

I spent ten years living in London - four as a student, six more of life rushing past - and recently moved to a village for a change of pace. I'm an easygoing guy, who enjoys meeting cheerful people. I'm pushing 30 now, so the wildest of my wild nights out are probaby behind me now, but I can still manage a bit of teh crazy (just give me a day to recover)

I can host, at times may be looking for a couch, but can also do just general tour guide / meet for a drink duties.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was a student, and for a few years beyond that, I lived in a very chilled out flat with some friends, and at least once a week our couch was occupied by a friend of a friend. I found I enjoyed coming home, meeting someone new and having a chat, and then getting rather drunk with them somewhere, and showing them a side of town maybe the average visitor doesn't find. Similarly, on my travels, staying with friends or friends of friends has opened doors I otherwise would have missed.

I'm a fan of long aimless walks, and am a bit of a history nerd (not qualified), so any walk which also contains history... man, I am there. I enjoy quirky or otherwise noteworthy pubs, live music that doesn't involve pushing nor - as I get older and grumpier - portaloos, live comedy, rambling conversation and general exploring.
