Overview
About Me
I was born in Ireland but spent my first 7 years in Brooklyn before moving back to Galway.
My main loves are film, video games, performance and writing. I've been a part of the Macnas performance ensemble for 6 years and have performed in numerous parades, indoor shows and drunken living rooms after 4am. I'm very easy to get along with and my friends say I'm a lot of fun at parties, so if you're having one I'll be happy to come to it. I'm pretty easygoing and will happily sleep under the stairs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend is getting married in San Francisco and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to make some new friends!

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot of Sci-fi and fantasy stuff. Most recently I read 'A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet' by Becky Chambers, which I really liked. I also love mythology and ancient history. The Punic wars are my jam.
I listen to a lot of different stuff, not all of it technically good. I love TMBG, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Tally Hall, Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, NSP, Neil Cicierega and those guys on youtube who mashup songs with All Star.
I don't know where to start with movies so I'll just list a few. John Carpenter's The Thing, Babe, What We Do in the Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Godzilla vs Biollante and Star Wars, except Attack of the Clones. I'll watch any Horror movie, regardless of quality.
