About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Remain Righteous

ABOUT ME

High energy, excitable, and a self-proclaimed optimist: I love music, travel, relevant conversations, adventures, and people who enjoy the same.

PHILOSOPHY

There's no such thing as a sold out show.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed many a couches on my own terms and hosted quite a few guests as well. I hope that by joining the CS community, I can continue to do so in a more constructive and direct manner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best thing about Couchsurfing (aside from meeting amazing people) is the direct access it provides to a community. There is no better way to learn and experience a place than through the people who know and care about it the most.

Interests

Music, writing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, skiing, travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wayyyy too many to list them all. I love the arts, but music and live performances trump all others.

Iggy Pop > Cat Stevens
Royal Tenenbaums > The Lion King
The Giving Tree > The Outsiders (this can double as a favorite movie)

Hopefully that covers the far ends of the spectrum.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

6 weeks off the grid in Malaysian Borneo was certainly one of the most impacting traveling experiences I've had. The ability to live off the land and learn to communicate and connect with people without a common language is truly an amazing feat.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I've become a full time educator, I find myself seeking out students 24/7. If you want to learn, I'm here to teach.

Conversely, the only qualm stemming from my love of travel is the fact that I cannot orally communicate with the local residents of each location I visit. I am always intrigued by new languages and cultures, so teach me!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Peru, Philippines, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Uruguay, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
