Hi! My name is Macey! I am currently studying in Florence Italy and love to meet new people. I am studying to gain a degree in history and hope to also earn a masters degree abroad. I have lived in California my entire life until about 7 months ago when I moved to Italy. I enjoy trying new food and gaining new perspectives. I am always willing to pitch in and people have told my I am pretty optimistic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My new life goal is to try new things and get over fears. I was afraid of heights until I visited La Sagrada Famiglia in Barcelona and climbed to the top of the Notre Dame. I believe I have semi conquered that fear. I am also afraid to travel alone or couch surf. I am hoping to experience couch surfing in order to change my opinion and views of the world. I hope to also be able to learn new things and see the world through as many walks of life as possible.

I like almost all music and could never pin down my favorite movie. But I'm a chicken when it comes to horror movies. I'll watch them with you if you are okay with me covering my eyes often. I like fiction books but recently Ive been trying to broaden my reading categories.
