ABOUT US

Our life is full of unexpected events and in retrospective we often felt blessed to experience them. Couch surfing is one of those ongoing experiences in life. We like to travel, meet people, learn about their culture, and try to understand our planet better. We love life and nature, and small things that people usually don't pay much attention to. We moved a bit too much around the globe (Japan, Germany, Australia, Germany, Japan) in those years before we finally settled for a bit in Tokyo 6 years ago. For us, life is continues learning, not at a desk, but outside of our house! To host people is always a great experience for us and we are happy that such a place, an open community, like couch surfing exists.
We do love Ice cream, sweets, trees, the sound of birds and leaves, mountains and the sea, the smell of grass and and the dusk in summer, listening to soft candle music with background guitar light.

We don't care much if you have never surfed before or if your profile is not fully completed (but it would make it easier for us), because everyone has to start at CS and we want to help those who haven't got a chance for a reference yet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Besides hosting and surfing we make a lot of advertisement for couchsurfing among friends and try to motivate them to become a host as well and join the CS community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted in Germany and Japan, and surfed for the first time in Australia ourself. It was just amazing and we met so many incredible people.

In the past three years, we couldn't avoid noticing that people start using CS as a hostel or hotel substitution. That is not CS for us and we won't answer to any requests of people who obviously haven't read my profile. That shall be enough of an apology for our low responds rate.

Interessen

We love sports, a specially archery (Japanese archery), swimming, rock climbing and hiking. We also enjoy to learn and are therefore interested in a huge variety of things! Always curious!
