Hi!
My name is Maciek. I'm hitchhiker, backpacker and reporter. I like to meet new people and discover not- typical places (surprising?).
I provide Instagram @a_guy_from_space and fanpage on FB @Chłopak z przestrzeni- a guy from space, in which I share reportage teksts, also I write about psychology of place and urban development.
Backpacking is a part of my soul :) And also: cycling, cooking, walking and cycling in the mountains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to discover new places, so Couchsurfing gives me a chance to see more and more widely.

Interests

I'm a fan of Warsaw- my city, my passion. It's not easy, chaotic place. It inspires to explore all the time.

I'm psychologist, graduated University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) in Warsaw.
I have been volunteer from early times of school. On studies, I was a member of #Enactus association, where I
have co-created social projects.
All my spare time I like to spend outside

I have big weakness for Central Europe countries (especially Czechia and Slovakia), but I'm interesed in and open to all the world. In November 2022 I was in my longest solo-trip in my live, to Balkans. I have hithchiked from Cracov (Poland) to Podgorica/Tuzi (Montenegro). While travelling, I did about 40 interviews with local people.

My favourite bands are i.a. Interpol, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Kills, Wolfmother. Earlier it was Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pagoda, Jeff the Brotherhood, Love the battery... But I also listen another music :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept 3 times under a tent in the mountains during the winter at Zimowa Watra Wędrownicza scouting event .

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some polish words, organise an urban game or workshops about any random topic in psychology. And cook something interesting :)
