Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My polish language teacher, who's my lifetime inspiration told me once - maybe instead of looking for a sense, find a sense in looking for. After all our life is just a long long way.
So I travel, trying to find some wisdom, but actually enjoying that simple process of getting to know new ideas.

Interests

I study cognitive science to know how you think, so beware and form your thoughts carefully.
I'm in the process of becoming a programmer as well, so combine it with the previous sentence and get the right picture. Scary?

In the meantime, I play music. Guitar has long been my dearest company, so I play, sometimes compose, sometimes record, with a decent amount of alcohol I will even sing.

Music, Movies, and Books

As long as I feel that something is created with passion and real engagement, I like it and I want to hear it. Many artists got me totally, but if I had to pick some, it would be: Beirut, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Storm Corrosion, Massive Attack, Opeth, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Eddie Vedder, The Doors, Queens of the Stone Age, Riverside, System of a Down.... ok, maybe I will stop here.
Currently I'm just exploring all the bands representing all possible genres. Whenever I feel like doing so, I compose, but maybe that's too meaningful word. So let's just say I simply play. The guitar, and sometimes piano and drums whenever I can.

Favourite books - Shantaram, The Unbearable Lightness of Being and Great Gatsby

Movies - it is hard to pick one. Dead Poets' Society is one of the most inspiring I've ever seen, Rain Man - one of the most moving, Pulp Fiction - ultra tasty peace of movie, and maany many more...
