CURRENT MISSION

Studying Environmental studies at Concordia University in Montreal with the intention of learning how I may be assistance in the Environemtnal Movement.

ABOUT ME

I adore traveling and adventure, especially unconventional or alternative methods (hitch-hiking, biking etc.). I have had many life changing experiences on the road, often brought about by the kindness and generosity of strangers, hence why I joined Couchsurfing! My favourite aspect of traveling is meeting new people and sharing our perspectives on life and the world.
I've had many great trips, some long some short. This past spring I Hitchhiked to St.Johns Newfoundland and now I can proudly say I have been on every stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway! (though it did take 3 different trips)
Three years ago I did a 6 month long solo Hitchhiking trip Throughout the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland!
Also I have done multiple trips to the U.S mostly with family.
Beyond traveling I live a very sociable life in Montreal, I enjoy playing music or going to shows, drinking and smoking and hangin out with buddies.
I love biking and skateboarding, I also build custom bikes.
I am currently taking a break from Studying Geography and the Environment but it still occupies a huge amount of my interest.

PHILOSOPHY

"If a tree falls in a forest and theres noone there to hear, does it make a sound?"
Life is happening weather your on the bus or not! So hop on and don't worry about how much the fare, enjoy the view, choose the right music and always talk to your neighbor.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I strongly encourage travellers to look at alternatives to Tourism. When ever I encounter travelers in my city I try to help them find the true heart of the city.. versus the one fabricated by tourism and the city aka "tourist traps". It is with this that I obviously support the unconventionality of the Couch Surfing Network. Its Beautiful!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive attended one Couch Surfing Related party in Victoria B.C this summer. Made some friends, lost their Contacts :( I am sure our pathes will cross again!

I was in P.E.I and i got hooked up with a couch through the Hostal there ( Ch'town HI rules..) Unfortunately I never got a chance to crash at the couch surfers home.

Missed an opportunity to stay with a fellow in County Cork, Ireland March 2010. He was a nudest.. I was cold. :(

Hosted some Great ladies Summer 11'. Two Gals from London(Ontario), who were in Montreal for a Music Fest.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

During a hitchhiking trip in Newfoundland, my friend and I found ourselves in the company of an exceptional eccentric Newfie named Betty. She agreed to drive us to the next town, Stephensville, as long as we cut her grass. She was an amazingly generous host, bought us a case of beer at 10am (a 12 pack in NF costs almost twice asmuch as the rest of Canada) Then she fed us and even smoked us up!
Of course we kept our side of the bargain and mowed her lawn. We ended up crashing their that night and in the morning she drove us 80 km to Stephensville. She also left us with an unforgettable girt, a jar or cooked moose meat stew!
Later that night we camped out and heated the stew over a fire! It was really very magical.
