Overview
About Me
I am a 28 year old female who just quit my job in management consulting in New York City to begin a Master's in Energy for Smart Cities at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. I love exploring new places, trying new foods, and meeting people from around the world. I like doing things - not a lay on the beach all day kind of person! Some of my favorite things are boating and being on the water (I grew up in Florida and have had my boater's license since I was 13), and I recently learned how to drive a motorcycle, which is so much fun. I like going out to restaurants, bars, and clubs - I am really into underground house and techno, but can enjoy a night out in any setting. I am very friendly, low maintenance, and easy to get along with!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am really excited to meet locals in the places I want to visit and see a place from their perspective! The best trips I've been on are the ones where I get to share experiences with someone who lives in the area, learn firsthand about the culture, get insights into local spots and things to do. Plus staying with a new "friend" is much more fun than staying somewhere alone :)

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: global energy trends and challenges, concept of a "smart" city and how we can design our cities to improve the lives of its citizens and be more sustainable and livable
Learn: Spanish; recently started cooking and would love to learn new recipes; love learning about history (particularly fascinated with WWII)
Share: not the best chef but can definitely help out in the kitchen and share some typical "American" recipes
