Hiya! I'm MacKenzie, but most people call me Kenzie . I was born and raised in Indiana. I went to college at Purdue University and received my degree in Interior Design. I moved up to Chicago after school and I work as an Interior Designer at a Design/Construction Firm.

Last year, I took a year off from work and traveled the U.S. via car with a friend. We hit all 48 continental states (Hawaii and Alaska, I'm coming for ya)! I have LOVED my experiences with Couchsurfing so far. Everyone I have met has been so wonderful and welcoming! I am looking forward to more opportunities to meet new people as I make my way to new places.

I love all things cities and outdoors. I prefer to be outside as much as possible, whether that's camping, hiking, running, hanging at the beach, or playing some soccer. I'm also addicted to coffee and look forward to my daily dose every morning. It's a healthy obsession. I love to paint and I take too many photos everywhere I go. Currently working on learning how to play the ukulele...tbd on how long that will take me to master.

I crave new experiences. I want to be put into situations where I can challenge myself while also having a good fucking time. Adventures are fun :)

Because the Couchsurfing community is AMAZING! Seriously the best group of people! I have met so many badass people and have gotten to experience so many wonderful things because of Couchsurfing. It's the best way to travel, no doubt about it!

I LOVE MUSIC! Any music really.. I try and hit up a few concerts a month if possible. Live music is my absolute favorite!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Spent a summer in London working at an architecture firm. It was my first "big" trip out of the country and really sparked my need to travel. Oh and the road trip around the US! Just need Hawaii and Alaska to make the state count 50...then its overseas!
