Overview
About Me
I feel passionately about living! I want to explore everything and everywhere in everyway I can. I am an immensely happy person. Always smiling. I am itching to move, to travel, but school has kept me fairly rooted in beautiful Denver, CO (and hey, I can't really complain at all). I am following a path that requires focus and commitment; I am dedicated to it. I am currently applying to graduate programs in environmental engineering as I wrap up my undergraduate B.S. in Environmental Science and Physics. I live in an apartment near campus (University of Denver) with my beautiful roommate Sarah, who is currently working on her degree in Psychology.
I'd rather be skiing. Always. If you can keep up I'll be impressed :) I love food and wine. If you're lucky you'll be around on a night I cook. I love learning. Teach me something.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first heard about Couchsurfing while traveling around Peru in the summer of 2013. A gentleman from Germany told me a mosaic of his Couchsurfing experiences, the tiles he'd collected while traveling throughout the states. In a pinch I turned to Couchsurfing later that year and found myself in a beautiful apartment on the beach in Honolulu with Jason (my host). I want to repay the favor that Jason did me, by helping other people. Beyond that, I want to meet people like Jason, who expand my mind by introducing me to new things and who encourage me to solidify my identity as a continually evolving entity.
Interests
I am an avid skier! I spent 52 of my days last season enjoying the beauty and magic of the Rocky Mountains while pushing myself to the limits of my sport. In the summertime spend my time free climbing the flatirons in Boulder, hiking in the Rockies, traveling to visit friends/family or to make new ones and exploring the beautiful planet we are all a part of. My interests also align with my studies in the environment and the physical world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer I went on a journey through a culinary capital of the world, saw one of the 7 New Wonders of the World, played hide and seek with a baby howler monkey, visited islands on one of the largest lakes in the world, took my first overnight bus ride, expanded my knowledge of language, art, culture, etc., got hurt, got sick, cried, laughed and loved every moment of it. I don't know if I'll ever go back to Peru but I know I will have more experiences with more wonderful, spirit-lifting people, like those I met there.
