ABOUT ME

Currently I'm backpacking across Europe with a couple friends having the time of my life! I'm loving every minute of it! All the cool people we're meeting and the amazing places we've been, it's definitely a trip that I'm never going to forget! However when I'm not travelling, I'm at home spending time with family and friends! I'm someone that when I set my mind to something I get it done. My mother always tells me, do what you have to do, to do what you want to do. And that saying has stuck with me for years! My friends say I'm quite easygoing, and someone who they can always count on! I can either be the life of the party or the "mom" of the group, depending on the night. Overall I'm a 20 year old Canadian girl still trying to figure out what I want to do in this world, and traveling is giving me the opportunity to realize what I want to do and what I know I don't want to do.

PHILOSOPHY

Life isn't about the material possessions or what you have, it's about the relationships you form and the memories you make.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of right now I'm participating in couchsurfing only by surfing but hopefully once I get home, go to school and eventually have a place of my own I would love to host surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences couchsurfing in Europe have been great! We stayed with one guy over St. Patricks day weekend in Dublin and he was a blast, we had an unreal time! As well as with someone in Munich! He was fantastic, showed us around the city and overall was a great host!

Interests

Traveling would be at the top of this list! I don't like being in one place for a long period of time! I get bored and want to experience the world! Other interests would include sports, I love sports. Watching them, participating in them, you name it! I enjoy spending time outside, when it's nice out I feel guilty being inside! Spending time with family and friends is huge for me! Whether it's just hanging out at home watching a movie or going out with a group of friends, it's the people that are around you that matter!

Music, Movies, and Books

If I could pick one movie to watch for the rest of my life it would be Harry Potter. I love them all! As for music, I like just about anything. Although being from Alberta I'm a little impartial to country music.. I don't read much, but when I do I finish books in a day. One of my favourite books would have to The Great Gatsby. I read it in highschool and adored it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of my experiences would be from this trip! One of the most amazing moments so far would have been watching the sunset over Lisbon from the top of Castelo de S. Jorge, it was absolutely breathtaking!
