ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old gal from Connecticut; lived in Colorado for two years but had to return to CT for various reasons. Now I am hitting the road again and aiming to fully experience and enjoy the journey back out west. I have been traveling around the country on and off for the last 5 years and recently my goal is to invite vulnerability, connection and magic into my life in order to experience the full spectrum of what it means to be human. I am moving back to re-ground in Colorado but hoping to make the best out of my trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When driving across the country on a budget it's so amazing to have this community. I have had so many wonderful experiences couchsurfing and have met some truly incredible people and I am looking forward to adding more to the list! I am also so excited to open my doors to other couchsurfers once I have a permanent home in Colorado Springs.

Interests

I am a huge book worm, my favorite way to start the day is to sit down with my cup of coffee and read. In my free time I also enjoy running and hula hooping. I thrive when I set aside time for myself in nature and I love getting to hike new trails and experience new places. I would consider myself an introvert and do need time alone to recharge, but spending time with my closest friends and family is extremely valuable to me, as well as meeting new people. In doing so, I learn more about the world and gain wisdom through the stories and experiences of those around me ~ "When you know how to listen, everybody is the guru." -Ram Dass. A few more of my interests include making art (drawing, painting, making collages, etc), learning the ukulele, making yummy smoothies, and practicing yoga.

Hiked 11 miles on the Na Pali coast of Kauai; spent 3 weeks off grid in the Kalalau Valley.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook yummy vegetarian meals, or treat my host to a drink and meal out! I also enjoy sharing my art as an offering of love and gratitude. I can also offer my stories of travel and space to hold for all of your stories!
