Hi. I'm a man who likes meeting new people, discovering new places, cultures and languages. I'm friendly, open-minded and eager to learn about people I meet, places I visit. I'm interested in geography, nature and architecture. Of course I love travelling. I live in Warsaw, Poland. I like this city and can give you some tips what to visit or even show you around in my free time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hosting whenever I can and I'm trying to meet other CSs whenever I travel. I surfed other couches only 11 times so far, but met at least 35 CS in various cities to share some ideas and listen to them talking about their cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think that CS is a great oportunity to meat people from various countries and culture circles. I enjoy such meetings very much. I'm also a member of Hospitality Club and hosted various travelers in my house. It has always been a good experience. Beeing in CS for years (since 2007), for the first time I used someone's couch in April 2010. I enjoyed it very much and I'm eager to repeat it whenever possible. In many ocasions however I use CS just to meet locals and thanks to them have better insight into the city I visit.

Interests

I'm interested in other cultures and the way people think about the world, the way they live, their perspective. That way I can learn a lot and I do like discovering new things. As knowledge of any foreign language is a perfect tool for discovering other counties and cultures even better, I do my best to learn some more foreign languages. Of course I like traveling, as that way I can discover many interesting places, not necessarly listed as tourist attractions. Besides I'm interested in landscape planing, urbanisation and architecture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of music, but when travelling I especially like local music, local bands as well as folklore. Besides I sing in a choir.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sleeping on a rock shelf 1m x 2m on a cliff by the sea. I just enjoyed the sun set so much and later... it was just pointless (and too dark) to go anywhere ;-)
Another interesting experience was "Angel's Flight" in Basilicata region in Italy, so zip line 1,5 km long and 492 m over the bottom of the valley that is linking two villages: Castelmezzano with Pietrapertosa. Amazing! Breathtaking! I loved it!
