People would introduce themselves with the name first, or else it’s just rude! My name is Mactayren Jupiter - the surname does not explain my origin! I relocated to Kota Kinabalu to start again with a new life (restarted numerous times) after those amazing years in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. I am short and small (1.68m, 124 lbs.) however I never had any intention to trace back if I belong to the Hobbits.

I was born in the central region of Borneo Island and spent the first 19 years of my life having an easy access to the tropical rainforest (perhaps the oldest one in the world) just at my backyard! And so I hope you guys would love to hear something from me.

I graduated with Science major but I am currently working as an Editor. I write a bit – I always love to do that and to improve my skills albeit rather slowly. English is my second language and please forgive me if sometimes you may find it is difficult to understand me (I don't mind repeating and explaining it again).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had travelled to a few cities in the SSEA region and you know what I have enjoyed so much during those nomadic times? Food. Nature. People.

I love meeting people. Not only that, I love to have idea exchange on various things like culture, music, politics, languages and many more!

Interests

I learned a few traditional songs of a tribe in Borneo. I love tattoos, beads, costumes and of course talking to people I met throughout my journey. I read a lot, really a lot.

I read fictions and profiles. I listen to slow rock, indies, pop and rap.
