ABOUT ME

I don't have many friends, but some very good ones, and I have a lot of fun with them.
I have very firm ideas and don't like wasting time, energy or money when I don't feel like doing it.
I am an ecologist. I like to chat about science and the human nature, travels, culture, music and I am always interested to hear about the experiences and opinions of my guests.
I've been a student for as far as I can remember, so now I am eager to sail toward new experiences :D

PHILOSOPHY

Do not follow rules. Do not follow standards. Be creative. Be yourself, even when that means remaining alone. People might follow you later on, or at least you did what you wanted.

I'm trying to find out who I want to be in the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host very rarely but I am available to show around my city and its nightlife too. Sometimes I might seem a bit shy but I just need time to open up my mind. I always try to find something in common with the person I should speak to, although there's a limited number of topics that really interests me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted, I was hosted, I met with local CSers and also spent some time with foreign CSers, too. Talking and spending time with my guests really has been some way to enjoy life and learn new things about life and the world through other people experiences.

Musica, film e libri

Mostly Rock and Classical Music. Also I have a certain knowledge of the old traditional Music of Napoli.

I listen to Weezer, Ash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Negrita, Okgo, Lenny Kravitz, Vasco Rossi ...
I don't have any specific knowledge on Classical Music but sometimes I like to listen to it (Bach, Beethoven and Wagner mostly).

As for the movies genres, I like sci-fi, adventure, action, drama, western, thriller.

I do not read many books but usually I inform myself on history or science through the Internet. Very rarely I read some novels, too.

Take a car in the night and drive to the middle of nowhere just to clearly look at the stars in total darkness...

Spend a whole day driving all around the coast of the Salento and stop by at each shore to swim, and then back at the car and to the next shore...

Sleeping in a tent on the shore and waking up in the early morning listening to the sound of the sea...

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can teach Italian, and how to play guitar (or how to play "O' sole mio" and other Italian folk songs).
Or I can teach you some computer programming or Arduino -- but that is not recommended, unless you have some uncommon ways to have fun.
I would like to learn other cultures habits... and their sociability. Or anything else that one person has discovered to be important in his/her own life.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

I can share my knowledge of my city and of my country, whatever is your field of interest. I'm very curious and so I like to learn a little bit of everything, so we could basically speak about anything.
