Hello, I'm Yannick, a native French speaker from France, currently living in Besançon, a lovely city located in the Eastern part of the country, not far from the Swiss border. I work freelance, providing professional translations from English and Spanish to French, so I'm fluent in these three languages. I can also manage with Portuguese, but I need more oral practice. Currently I'm trying to learn Russian, this beautiful and amazing language.

I am willing to visit various countries in the near future, such as Russia and Ukraine. I would be more than happy if I could meet locals and learn more about their culture. I'm interested in a wide range of activities, including meeting my friends, having interesting talks around a drink and/or a meal. By the way I love to cook, particularly Indian vegetarian dishes, as well as Italian, French and any other kinds of cuisine. I enjoy reading, practising sports (biking, running, climbing), watching TV shows (Mr Robot, Westworld, Vikings, The Americans, and others), movies, listening to music, reading, etc.
