Hello, I'm Yannick, a native French speaker from France, currently living in Besançon, a lovely city located in the Eastern part of the country, not far from the Swiss border. I work freelance, providing professional translations from English and Spanish to French, so I'm fluent in these three languages. I can also manage with Portuguese, but I need more oral practice. Currently I'm trying to learn Russian, this beautiful and amazing language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am willing to visit various countries in the near future, such as Russia and Ukraine. I would be more than happy if I could meet locals and learn more about their culture. I'm also interested in visiting other places such as, for example (but not limited to), Portugal, Italy and Greece. Let's become friends!

Interests

I'm interested in a wide range of activities, including meeting my friends, having interesting talks around a drink and/or a meal. By the way I love to cook, particularly Indian vegetarian dishes, as well as Italian, French and any other kinds of cuisine. I enjoy reading, practising sports (biking, running, climbing), watching TV shows (Mr Robot, Westworld, Vikings, The Americans, and others), movies, listening to music, reading, etc.
