About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm studying art in Rennes as an exchange student currently, but I am from Rochester, New York in the United States working toward my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in ceramics and a minor in art history. I really love to travel and have new experiences and I'll be in France for the next few months so I can do that! Cooking and eating are my two favorite hobbies. I spend a lot of my time studying and making art- I'm kind of a workaholic. I can be shy at first, but I'm trying to be more outgoing at the start- life is too short to keep to yourself and not have exchanges with the people around you. My friends would say that I'm caring and sweet, probably too kind in all honesty because people take advantage of that a lot. My international friends are amazed that I can cook and enjoy eating healthy foods, since I'm American.

Interests

traveling- seeing architecture and spaces, to really experience a place is like nothing else
art- I love making it, looking at it, studying it- I'm that person that goes to as many art museums as possible and stays there for hours on end with my nose almost touching the pieces. I have to constantly remind myself not to touch things.
cooking & eating- i love all kinds of food and learning how to prepare new dishes
music- I usually like the indie/alternative genre more, but I can also be very happy listening to anything from opera to rap

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time was just unreal.
La Sagrada Familia was even more amazing- I think that has the power to make everyone want to be interested in architecture, at least it did for me.
Once my family and I went to a restaurant in St Martin (on the French side of the Island), but I was a lot younger and none of us knew any french. We ordered some pizza and when it came out, it had all of these little squids on it! At first we were horrified, but once I tried it, it was delicious!

Countries I’ve Visited

Aruba, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Poland, Saint Martin (French part), Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Spain, Switzerland, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
