About Me

I always want to do and see everything at the same time :) I try to enjoy life and grab the opportunities as they come along. Traveling is one of my greatest passions and a life-fulfilling experience for me.

PHILOSOPHY

Take every day as a life for itself

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I tried couchsurfing for the first time while traveling Mexico and really had some great experiences. I love the way you get to know many different people, cultures and views on life!

Interests

Traveling (quite obvious, I know), spending time with friends, music, reading good books (I'm a literature major), riding my beloved bike, dancing salsa, parties, cooking, baking lucious cakes, fighting against climate change, lying in the sun, laughing, relaxing and enjoying life.

Music, Movies, and Books

From punk rock to cumbia, from Disney animations to Monty Python to Amores Perros, I can find joy in most genres and music styles. Picking my favorite book is easy, though, the original version of Winnie the Pooh. How can you not love a book full of hums about the joys of walking through the forest!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Listening to awesome live-jazz in New Orleans / visiting the Mennonite colonies in Paraguay / Seeing the wonders and beauty of Southern Bolivia / Hiking in the Lake region of Chile / Being awed by the beauty of Agra Fort / Visiting villages in the Shan mountains in Myanmar / Camping by the ocean in beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park in South Africa

Teach, Learn, Share

I love yoga and I'm trying to get the hang of meditation but have not been so successful yet. I love to do outdoor sports like hiking, dragon boat paddling, surfing, biking, and I also play the flute but I don't have enough time to become really good at either of them. But if you are interested in the basics, I am happy to share :)

I do have a big passion for cooking and baking which I am always happy to share and give a taste of whenever I have the chance.
