CURRENT MISSION
First to the dinner table...
ABOUT ME
I'm easy-going and like adventure. Like the odd pint and heading out. Work to live not live to work best sums it up..
Bitten by the travel bug long ago and I've put all my efforts and money towards it ever since. Want to see as much of the world as possible and I don't wanna put a time frame on it. I get inspiration from reading, most recently Into the Wild and Long way Round/ Down.
PHILOSOPHY
Do not believe what you have heard. Do not believe in tradition because it is handed down many generations. Do not believe in anything that has been spoken of many times. Do not believe because the written statement comes from some old sage. Do not believe in conjecture. Do not believe in authority or teachers or elders. But after careful observation and analysis, when it agrees with reason and it will benefit one and all, then accept it and live by it. Buddha (563-483 B.C.)

Interests
I like the outdoors whether it be sports or leisurely stuff. My main sport is rugby, I've played since I was 9 and don't know what I'd do if I had to stop.
I enjoy treking as you really get a sense of the country when you take your time slow your pace and appreciate where you are.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm slow to find myself in front of a TV but enjoy the cinema now and again. Especially after the Christmas as the Oscar hopefulls are all out at the same time.
Trying to learn the guitar the past while.. no songs really but just like making a sound I like and it's a good way to relax. Interests are very diverse but my favourite musicians are probably John Frusciante and Glen Hansard.
Gotten better at reading books the past while and like factual/ biographies rather than something thats made up as I think real life experiences are more interesting than fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Treked in Nepal recently. Being surrounded by the friendly locals, fun travel companions and 8,000m peaks was the best experience of my life.
Been volunteering, bungy jumping, shark cage diving and safariin in South Africa. Still in contact with my host family and hope to meet them again
Climbed Mt. Blanc with my mates a few years back. It was the toughest thing I've ever done.
Completed a full loop of Australia; Tasmania, Fraser Island, Cheeky Monkeys in Byron Bay (Well, I'm told I enjoyed it) and Darwin being the highlights. A beautiful country and made some life long friends over there.
