Hello! I'm currently undertaking a PhD in cognitive psychology with an interest in memory. When I'm not in my office, I'm outside doing outdoorsy things, napping, eating, and/or travelling!
I survive off a diet of wine, dark chocolate, bananas, and hummus!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling and I also like couches. I want to meet people from all over the world and share my experience with them, but also learn about their life.
I honestly feel I gain more from the couchsurfing experience than your average hostel.

Interests

I like to think I'm fairly adventurous - outside is where I like to be/explore/live.
I like to challenge myself in lots of different ways - this year, it is learning how to skateboard! (I've fallen off once so far!)

I don't really watch tv, but I do love documentaries!
When I'm not reading science articles, I'm reading science-related books or biographies.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is quite broad - anything from folk to rock, and everything in between.
I'm always interested in finding new and exciting sounds. I love live music. Going to a gig is always an exciting night out for me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a night under the aurelia borealis, drinking lime flavoured vodka in Iceland. Recently I solo road-tripped all around spain and skinny-dipped on the coast!

My reasonably-okay-cooking. It's not great, but it's not bad either!
