LI am a Dallas, Texas native who loves animals, food, and experiencing new things. Fortunately, I've been able to travel extensively throughout my life and have been to 44 countries so far. I am very down to earth, I speak my mind, and I love adventure. I love to hear others' stories about life and share my experiences with them as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I on Couchsurfing because I enjoy doing as the locals do when traveling. Although I do stay in hotels the majority of the time that I travel, occasionally I would prefer to stay with people who can share their city's culture and suggest things to do. I love to meet new people and make new friends. Friends are fuel on the journey of life.

Interests

I have a pretty wide array of interests. Travel is by far my number one. I also love to learn-- not about anything in particular, but about everything in general. Although I don't do either anymore, I enjoy rock climbing and yoga. I love animals of all kind, but there's a special place in my heart for the exotic animals of the world (because who doesn't love a cuddly coatimundi?!). I love all types of food. I have an unnatural passion for anything related to the medical field and love morbid pictures/stories that pertain to medicine. I love to volunteer with different programs. I have over 1,000 hours with mentally and physically disabled kids and adults. I'm a pretty big fan of alcoholic beverages. But mostly, I want to make as many friends around the world as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I have a pretty diverse range of music I listen to, including rap, hip hop, rock, country, alternative, indie, punk, etc.

Movies:
I watch a lot of comedies, documentaries, action, and scary movies.

Books:
I don’t get much time to read much anymore, but when I do, it’s generally biographies and non-fiction about people who have overcome difficult pasts.

I’ve climbed through 2 of the 3 pyramids in Egypt.
