Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet wonderful people around the world while I travel and then be able to return the favor once I return to sunny San Diego, California.

Interests

I'm really interested in languages and culture, so I guess anthropological things. I love meeting new people and getting to know their perspectives on absolutely anything and everything.

I'm currently teaching myself how to use my camera (Fuji XE-1...help) and guitar, so those are some pretty prominent interests of mine. I also love drawing, painting, and being outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

Asking someone their favorite music is a terrible question! I can't choose, as I really love most things. I guess though that my current favorites are Tycho, Elliott Smith, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, The Maccabees, and Sizarr.

Most of my favorite movies are made by Wes Anderson, Terry Gilliam, and Hayao Miyazaki.

Current books I'm reading: The Mother Tongue (Bill Bryson) and Cloud Atlas (David Mitchell).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some quirky conversation and perhaps cook some terribly average dishes! I could draw you an illustration and help clean your place - whatevs!
