Hello! My name is Maddie and I've lived across the United States (from Phoenix, Arizona to Lafayette, Indiana)! I come from a big family where I'm the oldest - so I'm used to having a lot of people around. I'm currently a third-year student at Macalester College in Minnesota, but I'm studying abroad this coming February in Wellington, New Zealand. I love love love meeting new people, exploring cities, and backpacking trails. I'm so excited to meet you!

Currently, my favorite book is Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi, but I'm really looking forward to reading Tahuri by Ngahuia Te Awekotuku. My favorite musicians right now are Chance the Rapper, Saro, and Kevin Abstract, and I don't have a favorite movie but I really want to see Beasts of the Southern Wild (the soundtrack is so good!!)

One time I won a bet by eating 3 pounds (1.4 kg) of rice in one meal!
