Hi I'm Maddie! I am 20 years old. I am currently a nursing student at the University of Missouri, and am minoring in Spanish. During my summers and breaks I love to travel, explore new places, experience new cultures, meet new people, and hear their stories. I lived near Brisbane for about six months, lived/worked in Alaska for two summers, went to Peru for a couple weeks, am living/working on Oahu for the summer, and love to road trip whenever I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to meet people and experience new places in ways I would not be able to by staying in hotels and such.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the privilege of serving communities around Lima on a mobile clinic and helping to build a staircase to provide safe access to and from their homes.

I can teach a love for the natural world and chocolate chip cookie baking skills. I would love to learn the stories that make people who they are today, new cultures, and more Spanish. I can share my positive outlook on life and my calm.
