About Me
Hi! I'm a professional singer/songwriter and work part-time in events and promotions. I recently graduated from school in Nashville where I studied music business, and now live in Los Angeles.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling but I'm not big on tourism or sight-seeing. The best part about traveling is meeting people! My ideal vacation is going somewhere new and getting to experience it from a local's perspective. I think the best trips involve making new friends and hearing all about why they love it and chose to live there!
Interests
I love singing and writing, of course, but really all things creative. I am huge on aesthetics (Pinterest is my black hole of choice). I also love exploring this planet. Trail-running, hiking and backpacking are my FAVORITE. The weeks I spent in Patagonia and the Alps were the highlight of my life. I will always be up for anything outdoorsy and active...or anything involving cookies, coffee or red wine. Also, I have the world's raddest best friend of a boyfriend. There's a 99.9% chance we'll be traveling together and you'll get to meet him!

Music, Movies, and Books
Hmmm. I just really love good music. There is so much out there....between Mumford + Sons, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, John Mayer, Sia, The National, Hozier, Mozart... I could never pick a favorite.
I guess that applies for movies, too. Anything hilarious or honest and heartwarming...obviously everything by Pixar (I'm a child at heart).
I love Pat Conroy's writing. John Grisham is great. C.S. Lewis is brilliant. The Bible is the best thing I've read though by far.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Mendoza, I stayed with a couple friends at a hostel where we met some awesome people from the UK. We all got a huge group together and went horseback riding with some gauchos up to their ranch. They cooked us the most amazing Asado I've ever tasted and we drank about a vineyard's worth of red wine, which led to a sing-along of traditional gaucho songs around a bonfire. Magical.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories! That's what life is all about, right? Exchanging stories, insight, advice. Telling people where we've come from, what we've learned...and living vicariously through one another. I feel like I've been to the Amazon because of the stories I've heard while staying in hostels. Stories that inspire and encourage us to live each day with a mind for adventure!
