ABOUT ME

Eurgh, this is like a resume....

I have been living the student life in Adelaide for the last 3 years, and am about to shoot off overseas, to Canada and maybe the USA. I have been living with 2 friends and we are fairly silly, and make forts in the living room. I like to bake, and knit hats, and I make ceramic stuff, especially teapots. I like making things with my hands. I work in a chocolate cafe in Adelaide, which is hilarious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never hosted anyone couchsurfing before, but am keen to get into it before I leave for Canada, and after I get back. While I am away I probably wont be in a position to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed(?) once before, in a treehouse village in scotland. It was just outside Edinburgh in a protest community who were stopping the trees being cut down to make a bypass highway. We slept in a tree house, and were fed with food procured from the Marcs and Spencers skips. It was such an excellent time, and so different from the kind of experiences I had while travelling in Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went up in a hot air balloon one time, and we went above the clouds and then the gas was turned off and it was completely silent, bright sunshine, and an expanse of clouds every way you looked. that was pretty amazing...
