I am a student, currently taking a year out between courses to travel. I studied history at university and when I return from my travels I will be starting my post graduate teacher training in the hope of becoming a primary school teacher. I am a normal, very chilled out person who likes exploring, spending time at the beach, being active and at the end of the day I like to relax, sometimes with a couple of drinks and good conversation. I'm not one of those party-hard people but I'm still very sociable and am loving life!

I'm on a mission to put myself out there more by meeting people, taking risks, and doing things that scare me. I'd love to travel the world and stay with locals who know the area and can share amazing stories with me to inspire my journey.

In the future I hope to host people but unfortunately as I live with my mother at the moment, hosting is not an option right now.

Interessen

Travelling, travelling, travelling! If I had an unlimited stream of money I would definitely use it to constantly travel. I want to set foot in every country on this planet.

Helping others. I am a youth group leader back home, helping to direct with young people's aspirations and generally just hanging out and doing some crazy, fun things with the youth.

I'm a keen photographer especially in landscapes so travelling is very important to me in this respect.

I like to spend my spare time on creative projects, creating scrapbooks, collages, video montages to keep a record of all the amazing things I've done and the people I've met so that I can look back in 50 years time at how much I've accomplished.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: Too difficult to chose but my favourite genre would probably be acoustic as I play the guitar.

Movie: Samsara - An amazing insight into the more isolated parts of the world that sadly many of us will never have access to, with a deeper message of what is happening in the world around us as time progresses. I like it because you can put your own interpretation on it, there is no one meaning to it.

Books: A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Harry Quebert Affair, and it's got to be the Harry Potter Collection!

I am a very tidy person, if you saw my room it's borderline OCD! but seriously I respect other people's belongings and surroundings and I would clean up after myself. I'm considerate, polite and normal. I'd love to share my travelling stories with hosts and hear about their stories.
