Hi there. Im 34, work in a television production company as a producer / editor / researcher and run a non-commercial space for cultural activities like concerts, talks, free shop, rehearsels, movies and partys. Additionaly I am the Co-Manager of the Filmfestival "Days of Indigenous Cinema" held in the city of Rostock, Germany.

I was travelling via Couchsurfing a lot when I was a little younger and my latest great expierence was spend a beautiful time in rural Japan via couchsurfing.

Right now I am looking forward to meet great people in Taiwan and Okinawa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its my first choice of traveling.....so many trips wouldn't have happened without this network. I had a lot of people from around the world in my flat during the last 10 year. And i found true friends through courchsurfing peoples places.

Interests

I am interested in politics, housing projects, donation based (cultural)infrastructure, good food, cultural anthropology, traveling on a shoestring, getting to know different music genres better, table tennis, hitchhiking, history, hiking in the nature, sleeping outside, the moods and atmospheres of different quarters, the distinct cultures and subcultures of diverse communities. ....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

getting stuck coincidentally for 10 days in Doha, Quatar after the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull vulcano when the sky was closed to Europe for flights....and hiking next to that beautiful volcano one year later.

I would love to share ideas about noncommercial cultural projects, city developments, public television production....
I could teach german or basic english, talk about german and european politics, history, society and culture. would be a wonderful thing to share some stories. or go for a walk or hiking together.
