Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Climb rocks, catch lizards, cook soufflé
ABOUT ME
Just chillin' and working at the moment, spending all my spare time exploring the National Parks around Sydney, going to the gym (just started, don't have any muscles yet :P), riding my bike and learning French.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't ask 'why?', ask 'why not?'.
A wise master once said, "Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." So don't be afraid of doing something new, yo.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't host at the moment, but I can:
a) Show you around the National Parks of Sydney and find you some Australian native wildlife
b) Practice English with you (especially if you're Japanese or French, as I have a bit of each language)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a lovely girl in Sapporo (Japan) for a few days - she cooked me fantastic dinners and told me what I should check out around the city while she was at work for the day.
I've stayed with 5 WWOOF (Willing Workers On Organic Farms) hosts for about 10 days each in various places around Hokkaido (northern-most island of Japan).
Interests
I love bush-walking, rock-climbing, exploring and looking for wildlife (studied biology and environmental science at uni, go figure).
I also enjoy playing guitar and am getting better at ukulele, mandolin and piano.
Finally, I like to practice languages/learn new languages (Japanese and French at the moment).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most alive I have ever felt was when I went hitch-hiking around Queensland with my French friend Jonathan. We were in Bowling Green Bay National park and followed a track to 'Alligator Falls.' When we got there, we just started climbing up these super giant, super steep rocks - Jonathan climbed straight up next to the waterfall and I climbed up on the side rocks. I climbed like a mad thing for about 20 minutes before I finally turned around and was blown away by how ridiculously high up I was and felt a sudden rush of panic when I realised I had to climb back down again. As I climbed down, adrenaline coursed through my veins and every slight slip put my heart right into my mouth (and, quite honestly, if I had fallen, I definitely would have died). BUT, I made it back down and felt like a damn superhero.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm great at finding and catching wildlife (e.g.: frogs, lizards, birds minus the catching) and I love teaching people about the natural world (insects, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, birds, plants, fungi, you name it and I'm interested in it).
I can teach some Japanese (I'm at a low-intermediate level) and some guitar/ukulele.
