Good food, good booze, and good people.

I'm a pretty laid back person, and I like getting to know people. Sitting down, sharing a drink or a meal - that kind of stuff. People are important.
On the weekends I like to wander around the city, catch some live music somewhere, and go out for breakfast.

I love traveling and meeting other people while bouncing around. I miss those interactions, so I thought it would be great to offer up my couch to people who are passing through the city! My boyfriend and I absolutely love living here and are always happy to show people around when time permits.

Music: There's not much that I don't like. I'm a big fan of jazz, and am currently studying traditional cuban music. I grew up listening to a lot of Phish and the Grateful Dead, but a lot of country too.

Movies: I have to be honest, I'm a sucker for romantic comedies. Movies are my favorite kind of escapism.

Books: I don't read nearly enough literature. Most of my reading is academic journals and some magazines.

I decided about a year ago that it would be a good idea to directly enroll at the Universidad de la Habana and live there for a while. It was a hard adjustment, but certainly the best decision I've ever made.
