I am fun loving and vibrant person who is always open to meeting new people, my friends say I'm quite the chatterbox. I range from being quiet and conservative by reading books, enjoying long hikes alone, learning about history and playing board games to being the complete opposite personality by going being confident enough to travel the world alone, skydiving, white water rafting and never being scared to conquer my fears.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently travelling through Europe alone and am starting to get tired of the constant party scene that the majority of the hostels offer. I also would like to learn about the real culture and ways of life of those living. In other countries, I feel that staying in hostels and the recommendations they give for food and activities are really touristic and masking me from experiencing another culture fully.

Interests

I am a huge lover of the outdoors and keeping active, I am constantly doing activities such as kayaking, hiking, tennis and bike riding. But I also love chilling out at the beach, reading a book or spending hours at a cafe or bar having a chat. I am a lover of all things food so usually my favourite place is at the dinner table or put to eat while matching the meal with a glass of red wine or a beer. I love learning about history and love admiring artwork, whether it be graffiti on the street or in a museum.

Music, Movies, and Books

The majority of my favourite books and movies I'm interested are fantasy, I love learning about history therefore I also love watching documentaries and movies set in the medieval era. Some of my favourite movies are 'Troy', 'gladiator', guardians of the galaxy', 'boy in the striped pyjamas' and '10 things I hate about you'. I have just finished reading the last of the 'game of thrones' book set, and am now hooked on a book about mythical creatures in modern day society.
I am into a huge variety of music from indie rock to deep house, heavy metal, techno and acoustic.

I am really passionate about the food industry and the main reason I am travelling is to experience foods and cultures around the world, I would thrive off being shown authentic foods and flavours that are foreign to me as well as learn about and compare methods of preparation, sources or local produce etc.
