Overview
About Me
Hello! I was born and raised in Washington state and have taken many adventures through my life of 22 years! My parents believe in experiences over physical things so we were traveling all the time. After I graduated high school I did AmeriCorps NCCC for about a year and then came home to work for my parents business as well as marry my husband Ryan in September 2017. We started building a tiny house in Spring 2018 and moved into it in Spring 2019.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Who doesn't love seeing the world and meeting new people at the same time? I think there is such a great value in staying with a local.
Interests
When I have free time I enjoy playing games with my husband and friends over a good glass of wine. We like exploring places we've never been. Right now we are still working on getting our Tiny House dialed in. We like to kayak in the Puget Sound and on miscellaneous local lakes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to dance to groovy tunes if it doesn't rock the tiny house too much :) I like movies and shows that make my brain hurt thinking about them. (Inception, Black Mirror, etc.) If I have time to read I would probably go towards simple, easy reading. Some of my most recent books were The year of Living Danishly, Big Little Lies, Kite Runner, Lion.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in AmeriCorps, my team helped put on a three day fundraiser for a non-profit in Little Rock, AR. I was somehow able to work 20 hours/day for that weekend with a serious leg infection but we raised more than $50,000!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am super bubbly and will tell you anything you want to know about my life because I want to know about yours too! Ryan is more reserved but can hold a good conversation.
