I'm currently on a gap year and decided to take myself off to travel around South America for 4 months. My travels so far have been more amazing than I expected and I love seeing a different lifestyle, meeting people from all over rather world and doing things you can't do anywhere else. Back in Australia I'm a student studying Sport Management and I love swimming and surfing. I decided to become vegan nearly a year ago and it's really changed the way I view a lot of things and I feel great!

I'm couchsurfing because I think it's great for people to be able to share homes and knowledge of the culture and the city you're staying in. I've noticed it's easy to stay in hostels and sort of stay in a group of other travellers, which is great sometimes because I've made friends and had some good times but I also think I should get away from that sometimes for a different experience.
