Hi! My name is Maddy I am 21 years old and just graduated from the University of Waterloo, having studied Environmental Studies and Legal Studies. I grew up in Toronto, ON and have recently started exploring more of my country and the United States. I love camping, hiking, kayaking, and pretty much anything in the outdoors. I am always open to new adventures and trying new things!

Right after I graduated I took off to the west coast. I am currently traveling around, hoping to meet some new people, have some new experiences, and not break the bank along the way.

Kurt Vonnegut is for sure one of my favourite authors but I like a bit of everything.
Music wise mainly Indie rock and folky stuff but am always open to new suggestions and different sounds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked running back country camping trips for kids and teens for the past 4 years. We go on outdoor excursions for up to 2 weeks in areas like the French River, Algonquin, Temagamii, and the Bruce Trail. I love seeing youth thrive in the outdoors and gain new skills and confidence. I strongly believe that learning in nature is crucially important for youth and take a lot of pride in being apart of that for these kids.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an open minded and relaxed kind of person. Would love to bring some good times and a chill atmosphere. I'm also an expert baker if you have a bit of a sweet tooth and love sharing conversation around a good meal.
