Hey guys! Up until now I’ve been sharing a Couchsurfing account with my partner, but he’s currently doing some cool adventuring in Europe and I wanted to make my own account to meet some new people locally! We quit our job 2 years ago and we have been travelling on and off since then! Now I’m volunteering at a dog shelter in Sofia and plan to check out the rest of Bulgaria in late November.
Last May we left Bath and cycled to Croatia in 4 weeks, then lived in Greece for 6 weeks, been doing some cat/dog sitting here and there and most recently we backpacked across Turkey and Georgia which was by far my favourite travelling experience.
Now that I’m doing some solo travelling I want to meet locals and other travellers alike. I really want to learn new recipes, make art, listen to live music and just chat about anything that you’re passionate about. Honestly can talk about almost anything. When I’m not meeting people I’m either reading, painting or baking, all while listening to music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couch surfing because while I can’t travel I want to still feel connected to the world. I’d love to offer my hospitality and friendship to others and who knows maybe the friendship will last!

Music, Movies, and Books

I will truly listen to any music, right now going through a Elvis Costello, Idles, Viagra boys, Hozier and Siouxie and the banshees phase. Please recommend me more artists to listen too! My favourite movies are ones based on a true story like Hacksaw Ridge. I also love the Coen brothers! The Lego movies and the road to El Dorado are pretty fun too
My partner introduced me into Charles Bukowski a few years ago and his writing is very good and so honest, my favourite author is currently Joël Dicker, he writes some insane murder mysteries with so many plot twists! Currently I am reading s book called the Power of One. It may be my new favourite. Again please recommend me some stories!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling to Croatia was pretty cool, I didn’t train at all and got covered in ticks but it was pretty amazing. I also lived in a jungle for 4 weeks in Costa Rica!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach and to learn anything creative! It’s all I think about. I would also love to learn an instrument and practice and new languages! I can share information about the South West of England and can offer free tours even with bikes if you fancied it! I also know a really good card trick
