ABOUT ME

Ive travelled quite a lot with my ex partner, through our travels we were lucky enough to meet loads of great people, make new friends and create new memories.
I'm now back on the road on my own and hoping to make even more memories and meet great like minded people.
I'm currently working part time as a gardener for a charity helping adults with learning difficulties to grow and maintain a garden. I also work part time as a climbing instructor.
I love being outdoors, climbing , surfing, hiking and doing yoga!
I studied art, enjoy creativity and inspirational experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had several couch surfing experiences now and have met some beautiful people. have also done many workaways and met people on my travels and then gone on to stay with them.
I have a handful of reviews from our workaway hosts that i can forward on to anyone or they can find me on workaway and see for themselves. My hosts have all become friends, and im lucky enough to be frequently in touch with most of them. My time travelling has been filled with laughter due to our time shared with these friends.

I love reading, i just don't get round to reading very often.
We also have a wide range of music, Fat Freddys Drop, The Skints, Consumed, maribou state, nightmares on wax, Laura Marling, Fleetwood Mac, Dizraeli and the Small Gods just to name a few

movies! sightseers, grand budapest hotel (most of Wes Anderson's movies) I'm a sucker for the old Bond movies too and love the old Jerry Anderson shows like captain scarlet!
its hard to sum up my tastes, im pretty open minded and listen and watch a variety of things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've done a lot of workawaying whilst on my travels, which is basically an exchange of work for accommodation and food. Yet a lot of the time it becomes an exchange of friendship and skills.
I have learnt how to build dry stone walls, planting and harvesting, cooking and baking, building compost toilets and have also done some plastering.
I'm always happy to pass on my skills to whomever is interested, and help people out with odd jobs, i fitted a new door handle at one of the couch surfers places in the past.
I love working with my hands and building things from recycled materials, I'm always on the look out for inspiration to make more things from recycled materials and always welcomes new skills from new people.
