Hi, I'm Maddy, a laid back Aussie who is currently living in Dublin and travelling around Europe in my spare time. I grew up in a coastal area about 45 minutes outside of Melbourne and as much as I love where I am from, I am forever leaving my beautiful home to go on adventures around the world. For me, nothing gives me greater thrill than being somewhere completely foreign. 53 countries visited so far!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love travelling and meeting new people which is why I'm on couchsurfing! I believe the best way to see a new place is from a locals perspective and this gives you exactly that.

Interests

One of my favourite things to do while travelling is to try new foods! Call me crazy but I always spend way too much time in supermarkets seeing all the different products and local delicacies. I love chatting to people over good food.

I listen to a range of different music depending on my mood. My spotify playlist has everything on it from Britney Spears to Post Malone. I love Australian music and introducing others to the amazing talents we have down under.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every day that I am away from home and my family is amazing to me! Sounds cheesy I know haha. Ok I'll name a few then. Visiting ancient temples in Egypt, working in a bar in beautiful Lagos Portugal, hiking the incredible mountains in Japan, studying journalism in San Francisco, hot air ballooning over the fairy chimneys in Turkey and driving the golden circle in Iceland.
