ABOUT ME

Every time I go to use couchsurfing, I have to update this section! My use of couchsurfing has been intermittent because I've been travelling a lot and then stationing myself in places that are reasonably remote where I don't get much of an opportunity to host people.

Anyhow, I digress from 'all about me'. I'm from the east coast of Australia, I trained in science and love it but have always been caught between 'the two cultures' (i.e. science vs. art) and also have a strong interest/enthusiasm for art, literature, music, dance.

I'm also pretty activated and interested in... social justice, for want of a better expression.

I love to travel, I love to connect with people, I love food and cooking, biking, hiking, yoga, reading and learning.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Firstly, I feel strongly compelled to apologise for my abominable reply record - that's a hangover from a few years back when I was new to couchsurfing and was overwhelmed with requests when living in inner Sydney. I haven't had much of a chance to redeem myself in recent times, but I feel like that number really doesn't reflect me! I've done a bit of surfing in the States and Canada and hosted a fair few people when I lived in Sydney between 2006 and 2009.
