HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is what ive always been looking for! Instead of booking a room in a hostel/hotel where everything is made for tourists, you can here find a local and learn so much about different cultures, things you never would experince if you are staying at a hostel/hotel. So how do i participate ? I rather prefer finding a place here on CS then book a hostel/hotel room!
