Hello! My name is Maddie and I'm a classical pianist looking to explore the world and make some new friends along the way. I enjoy music, food (anything and everything - seriously, I will try anything), culture, and exploring new and exciting things. I'm also a sucker for rollercoasters.

(P.S. I'm not accepting guests at the moment as I live in a tiny flat in London with two other people and we don't even have a couch big enough to sleep on, let alone room for a mattress! Once I live somewhere bigger, I intend to host!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done a couple of HelpX holidays (mainly chopping logs) and loved them, so I figured I'd give this a try! It would be nice to meet some new people and go on some adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really do love all sorts of music - my job is as a classical musician, but I love indulging in cheesy Europop in my spare time... Film-wise, comedies tend to be my thing, and I love dystopian fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled through the Kashmiri mountains in a Land Rover over the course of two days, between Srinigar (where I stayed on a house boat, Jewel In The Crown Style), and Ladakh, where the Dalai Lama had been only a week previously.
