I am a 28 year old student who likes to travel and is interested in different cultures. I have been living in different countries for longer or shorter periods of time to do an internship or study. At the moment I'm living in Sweden, studying Global studies. This study is mainly focused on migration and integration, nation/state building and peace and conflict.
Since 2009 I play rugby and therefore I exercise a lot, jogging, going to the gym etc. I like playing sports. When I was younger I have also done gymnastic and played hockey.
I work as an volunteer for the red cross on an integration project for newly arrived immigrants. We learn Swedish and organize various activities to introduce them into Swedish culture ans society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's so much nicer to get to know a place trough the eyes of a local who knows all the nice non-touristic places.

Hosting people from all around the world makes me feel like I am traveling in my own city :)

I like reading books that give me an insight of other cultures such as 'The Kite runner' and 'A thousand splendid suns' from Khaled Hosseini. At the moment I am reading 'the house of the Mosk' of Kader Abdola, about Iran before and during the revolution.
