I am a musician in Austin Texas. I play primarily standup bass and guitar and am currently learning the fiddle. I play in a post-punk group called Cactopus that hails from Durango Colorado where I went to college. I also play in a four-part female multilingual folk and soul band called Ley Line. We play north and south American folk music borrowing traditional songs, rhythms and melodies from around the world. I love backpacking, climbing, foraging for mushrooms, mt biking, laying in grass and swimming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and connecting with people through adventure and music. I am couch surfing to meet people to host me in my travels and to help me create connections in the areas I visit. I also really love learning languages and want to have immersion experiences where I practice the language of where ever I am.
