I'm finally living out my dreams of traveling solo! I am excited to travel with couchsurfing because I feel my traveling experience will be much richer if I am able to meet locals and experience a taste of what it is like to live in a new place.

Music: Indie, jazz, soul, r&b, folk. Will listen to anything. Some favorite artists are Tame Impala, Sufjan Stevens, Radiohead and Thundercat.

Movies: big on indie. Call Me By Your Name, Moonlight, Inception, and Amelie are a few of my favs.

Books: memoirs and nonfiction but trying to get into fiction more.

I went on a solo road trip around the western United States. It was my first solo traveling experience aside from a long layover I had in Paris, which was a whole adventure in itself, but that's another story..

I feel I teach most by just being how I am in the world and sharing my perspectives, but in a more practical sense I'm happy to show you how to cook my favorite meals or teach you a card game. I'm learning Spanish and interested in learning more about gardening, cooking or any craft or skill that you know. I'll share stories, laughs, and a listening ear.
