Overview
About Me
I am an American journalism student studying at the university of Urbino in Italy. I'm an easygoing person who loves gaining new experiences, meeting new people, and seeing new places. Drinking good beer and eating good food with friends is important to me and I have a huge passion for music.
Passionate conversation is important to me, and learning even more so. I love to surround myself with people who teach me new things, and to whom I can offer new knowledge or perspective as well. I live very compassionately and love to live life to the fullest. I like to learn as much as possible and music, Philosophy, art, ect. help me do that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling in and out of hotels can be very impersonal. To me, the best part of traveling is meeting new people and learning about new cultures, so CS is perfect for that!
It seems like a community of likeminded people - those who want to learn and grow and share. It isn't a selfish transaction, but a communal effort to grow as people, which is beautiful.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Sun Also Rises, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Dhmarma Bums
I have never met a genre of music that I don't like. Some of my favorite bands are Kings of Leon, Pink Floyd, Bahamas, Kendrick Lamar, Cherub, The Black Keys, Atmosphere, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, The Strokes - and MANY more (music is my life)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Donated stem cells to help a stranger fight blood cancer. It was a very emotionally and physically exhausting experience - but taught me a lot about how kind and selfless people can be. For all the bad in the world, there is a lot of good too.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't teach anything because I could never pretend to know everything about anything. A good conversation is one where you share what you know (or think you know) and to learn. I've read and studied a lot about different religions and cultures and people and always want to learn more. I love talking about life - how to live it to the fullest and how to be a good and positive presence on this earth. I will happily give what I can to that conversation and energetically absorb new ideas.
