About Me

Hello, I'm Madeleine and currently working as an ICU nurse in the beautiful city of Bremen.

Most people would describe me as a calm, relaxed and open minded person and I would do too :) Even though I seem to be more introverted I like getting to know new people, their stories and like to talk over a cup of tea or a glass wine.
I can be fascinated by many topics very quickly and am motivated to learn more any time.

This summer in July 2019 I'm going to start traveling around the world with my girlfriend Anne. We want to travel slow, focus on interactions with people, connecting and we are curious for the opportunities in our way when we are open to them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me it is a good opportunity getting to know new people and make connections. In my shared flat we often have people staying around with us in our guest room and we have such a nice time together.
I do enjoy shared activities, like cooking or walking around the neighborhood.

Regarding my own travels I like the simple way of spending time with people who live at the places I visit. It opens new perspectives for me and I've made so great experiences!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Venezuela for one year was a very special experience to me.
I've had awesome families I spent my time there with, which have been very caring and supportive all the time. Traveling through the country with other students was beyond words, one day we went to the rain forest, climbing flat-topped mountains through all cloudy weather, reaching the top we saw a crowd of free living parrot birds flying over the trees all around.
The diversity and beauty of nature is so incredible :)
