I am an avid traveler and love to meet new people and experience other cultures. I also love to cook and try out new recipes. As much as possible I prefer to be outside whether swimming, walking, running, or simply sitting in the grass. I'm a yoga teacher and can often be found doing headstands. I love to read and I write poetry as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In order to connect with local cultures around the world. I have traveled to many places but I always find that I have the best experiences when I am able to meet with locals and experience the country from their perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very wide range of taste in both music and books. Rock and roll, blues, hip-hop, folk, jazz, edm, indie, classical music (from around the world!)...you name it! Recently I have really been enjoying listening to more traditional sufi music. The book I am currently reading is The Doors of Perception by Aldus Huxley.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. Although every travel journey I have been on has been amazing! Visiting Petra, Angkor Wat, and Machu Picchu also stand out as highlights.
