ABOUT ME

Hey!

I'm Madeleine, a German girl living and working in Spain. I'm a freelance content writer working overall in logistics. Valencia is where I have been feeling like home for 15 years now, nevertheless I need sometimes a break and get to know new places. I love traveling around, trying new food and discover the unique beauty of each and every place. I'm a flexible, open-minded person and love to meet interesting people.

CURRENT MISSION

My next trip will be to the Balkan states. In September, I'll travel to Austria and will go from there to Albania crossing Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro. I'm open to any suggestion where to go and what to do. I really would love to get to know the culture and avoid the touristic places. I'm looking forward to
get to know a part of Europe that is totally new to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is an excellent way to meet local people and get to know the culture. Also, I'm traveling alone, and I like to meet new people from all over the world,

Interests

I love climbing and Bjj and I'll try to practice it during my trip. Also I love to cook and try new things I don't know. So if you go climbing or doing Bjj or need help in the kitchen, count on me :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last trip was also my largest so far. I went to Southeast Asia and India. I had a wonderful time learning about very different cultures and tasting incredible food. I'm thankful for every person I got to know on this amazing trip.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you some good German food (or maybe some Spanish too), teach you some long German words or tell you a funny joke in Spanish (Spanish jokes are not funny at all ;-) )
