About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy, relaxed, curious person. I've spent a lot of my life studying and trying out different types of jobs but most recently I've been travelling and teaching English in Indonesia. I love being underwater, hiking in the mountains, riding old bikes on 0% incline roads, walking, farming and gardening and just generally being outside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only surfed so far but hopefully I can host one day too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couch surfed a few times so far - in the US, Canada and Russia. Met amazing and generous people every time. I also got involved in the local couch surfing community in Cambridge who have weekly social events. I haven't been active here for a number of years but am back out exploring the world now.

Interests

swimming, the beach, mountains, coffee, second hand kitchen appliances, finding free things, playing in the snow, walking on ice, crunchy leaves, dressing up, food and cooking, skating, circus.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most kinds of music but I'm not really into dance, hiphop and that kind of stuff. I love gypsy music and am mildly obsessed with the accordian. I like movies that make me think and books that teach me things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a goat standing perfectly on the top of an Austrian mountain.

Hiked on the border of Tibet and the Himalayas for 6 days staying with random Chinese families and collapsing old huts.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am now a qualified English teacher so am happy to help out with this. Since I'm moving to Italy I'm trying to learn Italian so would love some help with this.
I also want to learn how to fix old bikes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and would be happy to make you a meal, or 2 or 3. I also legitimately quite enjoy doing the dishes. Otherwise I can offer nice company and fun travel stories.

Countries I’ve Visited
